Leaves.

Hey all,

Sorry for not posting in over a week. I've had intentions to but I've never gotten around to it. Anyways, it's officially fall now! Isn't it so beautiful? Whenever I look or walk around outside now I can't help but look at the leaves and breath in the crisp air. I know some people who really don't like the fall and some people who love it. Which one are you?
On the topic of leaves, do you ever feel like you're a leaf? You might be like, Uhm.. no. I'm a human. Not exactly a leaf. But I'm talking about being a leaf metaphorically. You reach your peak when you're green and shiny, then you start to dwindle, become crunched up and full of wholes, then eventually fall off all together?
I know I feel like this sometimes. I feel like I've reached my peak marks in math class, only to receive a C and then it feels like it's all down hill from there. But you know what the cool thing is? New leaves grow again. It may take a while, it may seem like forever, but they do come. They grow every single time.
We're like leaves with God. Because we are christians, we're gauranteed an infinite number of mess ups and "fall offs". Jesus already paid for our sins so we don't have to.

So the next time you feel like you've fallen off of the tree, look back up at it. Remember that the tree (God) is never far away. He's always willing to grant you another chance, another shot, another leaf.
