New Year.

Hey everyone,

Well, at least for me anyway, this is my LAST WEEKEND BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS. Ahhh. I can't believe it. I love school alot, but this summer has gone by so so fast. I went to my school and got my schedule yesterday, and I'm happy to say that I love all of my classes and where they are in my 2 semesters. My first semester is going to be heavy, but 2 of the classes are my favourite, and we all know we secretly enjoy the homework for those classes, so I'm not worried.
What I do want to talk about today is the fact that it's a new year. For me anyways, when I think of the new year, I tend to think about school starting. When it's December 31st, yes, we are ringing in a new year, but for me, it doesn't feel significant. I do make those infamous new year's resolutions, but other than that, all I do is change the year on my school work and that's about it.
For me, a new school year always has a bigger impact on me than the actual new year. Maybe it's because we're starting new classes, with new teachers and a new outlook. I'm not sure. But my challenge for you guys this new school year, whether you've started already or not, is to make a resolution. Are you going to try your best to finish all of your homework 100%, speak up in class or use your agenda more often? Think of something that is really important to you and ask yourself why it's so important. Is it because you want your grades to improve? Do you want to prove to yourself, your teachers and your parents that you're a good student? Whatever the reason may be, stick to it!
It is a new year, after all. :P

Happy Last Few Days of Summer!
