Trends.

Hello hello everyone!

How's everyone doing? Hopefully you're all doing well. I feel like I always start my blogs off the same way.. Is that weird? Fingers crossed it's not.
Anyways! Have you ever thought about the trends in the world? And guys, you may be thinking, Dude. I'm a guy. I don't care about trends. But when you think about it, you really do. Chances are, you wouldn't wear your dad's old neon jacket from the eighties because it isn't really 'cool'. Maybe you do think it's cool and wear it anyways, and honestly, I totally respect that. Wear what you love, but I'm talking about the people that go in and out of the trends like they're underwear. I have friends who are like that. Last week it was puffy sleeves and next week it's dangly earrings. But on the inside, is it what we really like? Or is it what other people like?

God isn't a trend. God never goes out of style. It's what is on the inside that God cares about. No matter how we dress on the outside, what's on the inside is what will ultimately shine through at the end of the day.

Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:3-4.
