Siblings.

Hey everyone,

It's almost Friday! One more school day! This week has gone by fast! But still, how can you not love a Friday? Anyways, I think I'm finally getting back into the rhythm of blogging. I'm ready to bring up some new topics and I would love to hear suggestions from you guys! If you're reading stuff you want to hear about, even better for you guys!
So today's topic is siblings. The majority of us have one, whether they're older, younger or the same age. In my case, my brother's the same age as I am! I'm a twin. :) I love him to death. But as of now, I'm listening to some music and my brother just told me that "I am never allowed to play music like that in this house." He really doesn't like the artist, but I know he's just kidding.
Do any of you have an annoying sibling? If your older brother comes home from university and brags about his awesome marks or your younger sister always asks you why you're doing what you're doing, it probably gets aggrivating, right? I'm sure sometimes you snap and tell them to lay off or go find their own friends because you have yours. We may even get to the point where we wish they weren't even our brother or sister.
The truth is, I snapped at my brother the day before yesterday. He wasn't even doing anything horribly mean to me, but I got in his face and got really nasty. I know now I shouldn't have done it, but at the time it didn't feel like he was listening, so I tried to get the point across by being mean. Doesn't seem very logical, does it?
Your brother or sister is here for a reason. Just like you, God created them to be a beautiful, humble individual. Some days it may feel like that can't even be possible, but that's the truth. So we don't like it when someone is rude to us, right? So think of your sib as you. God loves them just as much as He loves you. So why are you being mean if you don't want anyone being nasty to you?

Take a second and think about it. God doesn't just want you to be happy, He wants them to be happy too.

Happy Thursday!

  1. Totaly right (and my brother is completely anoying :D), Siblings are often the ones we take out our frustration upon :( it's not fair, but it happens. We all need to learn to love one another and keep our emotions in check for everyones sake.
